Job Summary:

The Village of Pouce Coupe is looking for seasonal employees to work in our Public Works department for the summer. The position start date would be May 1, 2022 (start date is negotiable) and would go through to the end of August 2022.


  • Must be attending school, college, or university during last school term and returning to your studies in the subsequent academic year.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work as a team player within the department and overall organization.
  • Must present a neat appearance and deal tactfully and effectively with the public.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with a valid driver’s license.


  • Perform public works tasks in the Village operations including ground maintenance, water and sewer maintenance, operating light equipment, road work, and other public works projects as required.
  • Mowing and maintaining municipal park space (mowing, whipper sniping, watering)
  • Organize inventories of materials and supplies; ensure suitable records are maintained as necessary.
  • Escalate inquiries or complaints from the public to Public Work Lead Hand.
